a cutey booty inspired tip for entertaining

we at cutey booty are all about finding the "simple and easy" when it comes to how we approach life. aptly positioned as the perfect pre-packaged, personalized, "grab and go" gift, cutey booty is just one of many ways that the guesswork can be entirely taken out of a task. just grab and go! now that really IS simple and easy!

as moms, wives, friends, entertainers(both of children and adults), and as women alike, we all seem to be in the constant quest for that next best thing to make our lives simpler. so it is with all us moms and women(and even you men and dads) in mind who have a"full plate" that we at cutey booty would like to begin offering up some of "our very favorite things" that make our lives somehow simpler, better, or that just make us smile. from cooking to reading or from fitness to child rearing(cutey booty pun intended), we all have so much in common!

as someone with a true love of the kitchen, i have always found great pleasure in tackling elaborate meals, unique tapas, or easy family meals on which to nosh during our next night of entertaining, date-night "in", or even just a night at home with the kids. so this particular week as i(and the rest of the world) think on what to make this sunday for the superbowl, again, simple and easy has to be the theme. i have a great pick for a "cool tool" that will help anyone make one of the best known appetizers and make it "simply"! who doesn't like stuffed jalapeno poppers? well anyone can make them right at home(and WELL) with William Sonomas Jalapeno Roaster, their pepper corer, and a container of Callie's Pimento Cheese(another of my personal charleston-based faves and "quick grab"!) with these tools in your kitchen, you simply cut the end off the peppers, core them with the nifty tool, stuff them with the pimento cheese and grill. literally, easy as 1, 2, 3, you have gourmet poppers you can be proud to serve!!!! for variation, stuff them with cream cheese and sausage. see these pics above of all you need for this "HOT" fave! and fyi, even the kids will love them if you take out the seeds and rinse the peppers before stuffing(not quite as hot!) please stay tuned to our blog to find out what else we love to do when we aren't focused on "baby's bottoms" :) you can go to http://www.williams-sonoma.com/ for the tools and to http://www.calliesbiscuits.com/ for the pimento cheese. until the next time, happy jalapenos!!! whitney koval
